FASHION MEETS THEATRE AND COMEDY

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2015 – 3-5PM

SHILOH BAPTIST CHURCH, 720 MT. VERNON AVENUE, COLUMBUS, OH 43203

Travel back in time as vintage fashions will touch your inner soul, and bring joy to your heart!   You may see and connect with fashions you recall--or witness for the very first time. The models will bring the attitude of the period as they stroll with the clothes!

Snippets from Nanette Marie's audiobook, Mamas' Drama, will fill the air. Soon to be released, this audiobook has over 40 voices telling the story about four generations' experiences with the mama's baby, daddy's maybe situation. www.mamasdramaplaybook.com

Laughter will be in the house as Judy Dallas shares her special brand of gospel comedy.

A scene from Nanette Marie's newest play, Suzette's Saga, will be performed. Suzette's Saga is a contemporary drama that explores the effects universal subjects such as color complexes and generational secrets and lies have on the family dynamic.  Taking place from 1965-2001, this poignant, healing play delves into the life-changing experiences hidden truths have on those who question them, as well as those who keep the secrets.  Inspired by a true story, and adapted from the book, Mamas' Drama, by Nanette Marie.

Proceeds from this FUNdraiser will benefit the debut staging of Suzette's Saga at The Atlanta Black Theatre Festival (ABTF) on October 10, 2015 at 10p.m. at The Ray Charles Performing Arts Center on the campus of the historic Morehouse College. Visit www.atlantabtf.org

Chad Michael will emcee this FUNdraiser, so expect the unexpected if you will--or even if you won't!

This FUNdraiser is guaranteed to be fun and entertaining!

Advance tickets $12.00 (online only at Eventbrite.com. Input Fashion Meets Theatre and Comedy)
